The open beta test has gone really well, having received lots of positive feedback, and also having helped flush out a few final bugs.
Version 1.0.0.16 is now available for download and is anticipated to be the release version. Release date is likely to be 1st October.
A couple of new features have squeezed in too, which exploit the ability, in Sketchup, to tag groups/components with metadata, (Sketchup Attribute Manager). WalkAbout3d will now read specific attributes, and use them to control how surfaces behave within WalkAbout3d. So you can now control whether surfaces should allow collisions, and also whether specific surfaces should be considered as water surfaces. We also think this method will be suitable for tagging doors too to allow them to be opened and closed withing WalkAbout3d.
